Cristiana Crin

Founder / Director of Design

Cristiana's journey into the world of design is marked by a unique blend of skills and experiences. Born in the heart of Transylvania, Romania,  her first choice study was Journalism, where she nurtured her ability to tell compelling stories—a skill that would later prove invaluable in her design career. In her late 20s, seeking a fresh challenge and a more hands-on creative outlet, Cristiana took a leap of faith and joined a Chicago-based development firm as an executive assistant. This role introduced her to the intricacies of architecture, interior design, and construction, sparking a deep passion for the art of buildouts and space transformation. She decided to further her education in interior design, driven by a desire to merge her storytelling background with her newfound love for creating inviting and functional spaces. Returning to school, she dedicated herself to mastering the technical and aesthetic aspects of interior design, gaining a comprehensive understanding of materials, layouts, and spatial planning. Today, her approach is a testament to the power of combining passion, education, and real-world experience to achieve excellence in design under the roof of Perpetuum Designs, the studio she officially registered as a business in 2016.
